Here is one of the high school ATC lessons I do with my students. I have also attached a ppt that I made to go with it. I used images from the Internet in the ppt, and the sites are footnoted in the Notes box at the bottom of each slide.

More ATCs ready to trade
I have a number of new student ATCs to share. One member of this blog has indicated interest in trading some cards. If any other teachers have suggested this activity to their students, let me know. We'll have to do some trading this summer at the summer board meeting in July.

New Artist Trading Cards Coming Soon
Some of my students' ATC artworks are finished and they look great. I'll get pictures of them posted soon. I'll post the cards with the student's grade level and "online" name so you can easily identify which works you'd like to trade for.

Artist Trading Cards for Kids
Join the Artist Trading Cards for Kids group for K - 12 students and their art teachers only. I'll post pictures of some of the ATCs, or all of them while we're still small, so you and your students can look at the finished ones that you could be trading for. Make your own cards, send me some .jpgs to post on the site, and bring the trading cards to quarterly AEI meetings where we can trade. We can also trade through the AEA van services within our own areas.
I have asked my students to label the backs of their ATCs with their first names and email addresses (only if they are comfortable with sharing that information). If you would prefer to leave the email off the backs of your students' ATCs, I understand.
Hopefully you'll have enough students interested in participating in this ATC exchange. I know my kids are very interested, and I am too. Please let me know if you'd be willing to participate in our activity by sending me an email with ATC in the subject line. Feel free to invite anybody you trust to join our group.
